Gansu Agricultural University

Founded in 1946, Gansu Agricultural University (GAU) is one of the oldest and prestigious agricultural universities in China.

GAU is the only agricultural university in the Province, ranking 13th among the national agronomy disciplines.

Now the university has extended its disciplines to include science, engineering, economics, management and arts, however, agricultural science is still in its center position.

Located on the picturesque Yellow River bank in Anning District, Lanzhou City, covering 63.54 hm2 of l and Enrollment of approximately 31,000 including 16,089 undergraduates, 2,500 postgraduates, and 12,000 extended education students.
