Guangxi University of Science and Technology is located in Liuzhou City, a national historical and cultural city and a major industrial town, transportation hub and trade logistics center in the southwest. The school was approved by the Ministry of Education on April 18, 2013. It was established by the former Guangxi University of Technology and the former Liuzhou Medical College.
