Shaoguan University

In 1999, Shaoguan University was qualified to enroll foreign students. Up to today, the number of foreign students in SGU has added up to 959, including short-term exchange group, since the first year 2002. and from 2002 we began to recruit foreign students, so far, we have enrolled 959 foreign students (including short-term exchange group), since the first time to enroll students in 2002. The majority of foreign students are language students,they comes from Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Cambodia, Panama, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Australia, Nigeria, Ghana, Ukraine, Malaysia and other countries. By 2017, the number of long-term education members has added up to 517 lol(studying in SGU over 6 months). The reform of  teaching Chinese as a foreign language to foreign  students has been carried forward step by step, the teaching quality has been greatly improved and the teaching effect has become more and more remarkable, the management of foreign student.
