Tianjin Polytechnic University

Tianjin Polytechnic University is a full-time general college jointly constructed by the Ministry of Education and Tianjin, which is the key construction in Tianjin. The school has a long history of education. The earliest disciplines were founded in 1912. In 1958, it began to run independently. Its original name was Hebei Textile Institute. In 1968, it was renamed Tianjin Textile Institute. In 2000, it was renamed Tianjin University of Technology. In 2017, it was selected as a national "double-class" world-class discipline construction university. It is the earliest textile higher education in China.
