Anhui Technical College Of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Mechatronics is the construction unit of "High-level Higher Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plan with Chinese Characteristics". The school was founded in 1935 in Anhui Private Neisi Industrial Vocational School. It is a public full-time higher vocational college directly under the Anhui Provincial Department of Education. It has successively passed through Wuhu Electric Power School, Wuhu Electric Manufacturing School, Wuhu Electric Manufacturing College, etc. Placed under the leadership of the First Ministry of Machinery Industry. In 1972, it was changed to the leadership of the Department of Machinery of Anhui Province and was renamed Anhui Wuhu Mechanical School. In 1978, with the approval of the State Council, the Anhui Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was established on the basis of Anhui Wuhu Mechanical School, which is now renamed Anhui University of Engineering. In 1986, the Anhui Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering moved out, and the Anhui Provincial People's Government decided to restore the Anhui Wuhu Mechanical School on the original site and returned to the leadership of the Provincial Department of Machinery. In 2003, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, Wuhu Mechanical School was independently upgraded to Anhui Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College.
