How Can I Know the Admission Result?

Applying for a Chinese university through Scholarshipchina and successfully studying in China is not a difficult task for many international students. But the time to wait for the admission results after the application is submitted is indeed a nerve-racking thing. You seem to be only waiting for college admission letters for a long time. Here are a few facts that you should be interested in and need to know.

1. How do Chinese universities receive my application?

Chinese universities usually send an email confirming that they have received your application. Normally, the consultant of Scholarshipchina will receive the message and send it to the applicant. If you have not received a response, please contact the Scholarshipchina consultants to confirm that they have received your materials. Each university has its own unique entry requirements. So please check and make sure you have followed all directions. If your application is incomplete, this may delay their review and your decision.

2. How do Chinese universities make admission decisions?

Since there are many variables entering the decision-making process, it is difficult to determine why a particular applicant will be recognized. Some Chinese universities divide application forms based on geographic regions, and regional representatives review these applications. Other Chinese universities may have several admission committees to make the final choice. Your transcripts, papers, letters of recommendation, entrance exam scores and any other content will be considered. In addition, non-criminal records and medical check are also very important entry requirements.

3. What should I do during the waiting period?

There is an application status on each students on our system. You should be able to access the our website using the same login information you use for your application. 

This is a good time for the university to understand the changes or additions to your files. Information includes whether you are moving, whether you change schools, changes in grades, any proof of rewards that have not been submitted, and other internships and practices that you have not stated. In addition, you can do additional research on the universities on the list to make informed decisions when the time is right.

4. Time of getting the admission result

The application period is usually from October 15th to December 15th of the spring semester, and the fall semester is from February 15th to August 15th. It usually takes two weeks to receive the admission result, and take 4-6 weeks to get JW202 after admission.

5. If you have not received the admission

If you do not receive the admission result, Scholarshipchina's consultant will notify you and help you choose another university. If you would like more information and specific reasons, please call or email them to check your status. 

6. Admission to one of the universities to be elected

If you apply for more than one university, the admission result is not the university you want to attend, please be cautious. It usually takes a few weeks for you to get back to the university before you decide whether to attend a Chinese university. Don't respond immediately. Give yourself and your family time to accept all acceptance so you can make the best choice.
