When ScholarshipChina meets PPIT (Indonesian Students Association)
“Welcoming Indonesian Freshmen”(WIF) is an annual event organized by PPIT (Indonesian Students’ Association in Nanjing) for all the Indonesian freshmen to get acquainted with Nanjing as well as the necessary information when living and studying in China. ScholarshipChina, as the sponsor for three years of this event, is honorably invited to join them in the orientation of Nanjing city and China.
21st Oct Morning
On the morning of 21st October 2017, WIF organized the opening ceremony in a hall located in Confucius Temple in Nanjing. Different departments of PPIT shared their experience about how to live in China, how to study in China and what’s impressed me most is MENCARI JATI DIRI (Finding True Self).
21st Oct Afternoon
In the afternoon, they separated into several teams to go exploring Confucius Temple and played interesting games.
22nd Oct Morning
On the morning of 22nd October 2017, all of them gathered at the gate of Nanjing Museum, taking photos with ScholarshipChina and iStudy School flags. Later, they were led by their team leader to go inside of the museum to know more about Chinese cultures and ancient history. Also,they did a fierce competition, finding something in the museum as quickly as possiable with the clue.
22nd Oct Afternoon
In the afternoon, participants went to Xuanwu Lake for the last game show. It was really a wonderful weekend with all Indonesian freshmen, tired but happy. Best wishes to all of you!
