Jingmen – Located in the heart of Hubei Province, it can be the communication hub inside the province.

Two expressways go through Jingmen. The Wuhan-Jingmen section has been completed by 2010. The completion halves traveling time between Wuhan and Jingmen to 2 hours. Traveling to Jingmen by railway is convenient, though takes time. China National Highway 207 also passes through Jingmen City. 

Enjoying a subtropical monsoon climate, Jingmen has a relatively temperate weather, rich in rainfall and sunshine. With clear four seasons, it has an annual average temperature of 16°C  (61F). Spring and autumn are the most favorable seasons to Jingmen.

Duck's head is a spicy local specialty from the Chinese city of Wuhan. The dish is made by stir-frying a head of duck with the addition of herbs and spices. Duck's head has a crispy taste as a result of the stir-frying method, and it is claimed to be a healthy food, with one of the duck's head store owners claiming that it helps one's brain power when consumed. 

Doupi is a breakfast dish from Hubei province. It is often sold as a street snack. Stuffed between the top and bottom layer is a filling made from rice, and usually no more than three extra ingredients - typically mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. The layers are either tofu skins or pancake lookalikes consisting of mung beans, flour, milk, and eggs. Once assembled, doupi is pan-fried until golden, cut up into small pieces, then sprinkled with chopped scallions and served in small bowls.

Strictly following traditional Chinese Fengshui theory, Xianling Mausoleum combines the surrounding mountains and rivers as its necessary parts.On both sides of the sacred way, there is an orderly display of stone statues; pairs of animal carvings such as lions, camels, kylins, horses and elephants, and two stone figures including civil officials and generals.

Lying on the south slope of Dahong Mountain in Zhongxiang of Jingmen, Huangxian Cave is a rare karst cave which integrates various geological wonders such as sedimentary environments, underground streams, and karst landscapes into the scene.
